Building up an emergency savings fund of three to six months or more of expenses is on the to-do list of many consumers. Many are opting to start with a savings account and then, as they accumulate more funds, open a certificate of deposit (CD) account where their money is safe and they can earn more interest without losing any principal.
AIG Bank’s Signature CD is available for a variety of terms, allowing customers to choose the right time for the CD to mature. Each is FDIC-insured up to $250,000. The minimum deposit required to open a Signature CD is $2,500.
