Current Mortgage Rates Near Record Low
When Freddie Mac released its rate survey figures for week ending May 20, it revealed that the then current mortgage rates were the lowest so far this year. In fact, at an average 4.84% for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM), they were extremely close to the 4.71% record low set during 2009.
These incredibly low interest rates must surely tempt many either to refinance their existing mortgage, or to stop putting off buying a home.
AFG Mortgages Exceptionally Low
Home loan rates vary across the country, but Affiliated Financial Group mortgages are remarkably competitive by any standards. Indeed, at the time of writing, its lowest rate for a 30-year FRM was 4.250%, which is 4.482% APR.
AFG generates over a billion dollars in gross sales a year, and employs about 80 loan officers with an average tenure of 11 years.
